You’ve Got Dental Questions, We Have Answers!

Whether you’re searching for a new dentist, dealing with a dental emergency, or simply curious about oral health, we’re here to help. Below, you'll see answers for some of the most common questions we receive.

What is the best way to find a cosmetic dentist?

Searching online for a skilled cosmetic dentist in Dallas can be difficult on your own, but with Google it’s easy. If you have a service in mind, like clear aligners, you can start by searching for “Invisalign near me.” This will bring up a number of search results for your area that you’ll need to narrow down.

By reviewing credentials, patient reviews, and before-and-after photos, you can find the best cosmetic dentists in your area.

Dr. Gabby brings advanced dental technology and an artistic eye to every case. She also has additional training through the Central Dallas Spear Education Study Club and performs everything from Invisalign treatment to full smile makeovers.

How do I get emergency dental care?

When you’re in pain or experiencing a dental emergency, the fastest way to get help is to call our Dallas office directly. Our front-desk team can walk you through what to do next and schedule the soonest available visit—often the same day.

Most dental practices, including ours, reserve time in the schedule specifically for emergency appointments. Whether you’ve broken a tooth or are in severe pain, Dr. Gabby and our team are ready to provide fast, compassionate care so you can feel better as soon as possible.

How can I find a female dentist?

If you’d feel more comfortable with a female dentist or want to support a woman-owned dental practice, there are plenty of options in the Dallas area. The easiest way is to search professional directories, like the American Dental Association’s “Find-A-Dentist” tool, or check local dental society listings. Currently, about one-third of all dentists in the U.S. are women, and that number continues to grow! Over 50% of new dental school graduates are now female. Dr. Gabby is proud to represent women in dentistry, offering high-quality dental care in Dallas.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

Dentists must complete a four-year undergraduate degree followed by four years of dental school to earn either a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). Many go on to complete continuing education to refine their skills or pursue a specialty.

Dr. Gabby Dizon exemplifies the dedication it takes to be a great dentist. She earned her DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry and continues advanced study through the Spear Education Study Club. She also holds fellowships with the American College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy—honors awarded to fewer than 3.5% of dentists worldwide!
